MTCloud is your private cloud. Your files live on your own server, follow you to every PC you own, and reach clients through a password-protected link on a page carrying your brand. No third-party cloud drive, no per-user plan, and two-factor authentication on the admin side.
Most teams we meet keep their working files on a consumer cloud drive and deliver work through it as well. It works until the free 15gb storage fills up, the plan is billed per user, or a confidential file sits on a server nobody in the company controls.
MTCloud does the same job on hardware you control, and nothing is ever uploaded to the usual cloud services. Your own folders sync between your PCs, a delivery is a folder with a link and a password, and a file you addĀ is on the client’s page instantly. Contracts, unreleased campaigns and client footage stay private because they never leave your server.
Kommento, our video review and annotation tool, is built in. Clients click on a video/image you just uploaded, pin notes to the exact second, draw on the frame and sign it off, with no separate review platform and no extra accounts.
Everything runs in the browser, for you and for your clients. The only install is MTCloud Sync, a lightweight Windows app for the PCs you want kept in sync with the server.
Send A Link, Not A Login
Sharing is frictionless: Determine the heading the client sees, the password, and an expiry date (30 days by default, or never). Click Create link, then send the link and the token password, conveniently either via Whatsapp or email.
There is nothing for the client to sign up for and nothing for them to forget. Closing a delivery takes effect immediately, even for someone who already has the page open, and changing the token signs everyone out.
The Folder Is The Source Of Truth
The dashboard shows every folder on the storage drive, the way a drive looks in File Explorer. Each one is either private, with no link at all, or shared. Copy files in with File Explorer, or drag and drop them into the browser with a progress bar. Either way the listing is read from disk on every request, so there is no index to fall out of sync and nothing to re-share.
Sharing is per folder, not per file. Everything inside is shared, including subfolders and anything added later. Delete a file and it is gone from the client’s page just as fast. A project folder that already lives elsewhere on the PC, or on an external drive, can be shared where it is, without copying it into the storage root.
Pin the folders you use most, colour-code the icons, and turn on client upload for them to drop files in to you.
What Your Client Sees
A clean page in your brand colour, in list or grid view, with inline preview for images, video and documents. Single files download with resume support, so a large video that drops halfway picks up where it left off, and a whole folder downloads as one zip with its structure intact.

Your Own Cloud Drive
Point MTCloud Sync at the folders you actually work in, on every PC you use, and they stay identical without anyone copying files around. The working folder on the office machine, the laptop at home and the editing suite are the same folder. The only storage limit is the drive in the server, and adding another drive is a hardware decision, not a plan upgrade.
The dashboard shows every folder on that drive. Any of them can become a client delivery in three fields, and any of them can stay private forever. The same place holds your archive, your work in progress and what the client sees, with one line between them: shared or not.
Keep Every PC In Step
MTCloud Sync is a small Windows app for your own PCs. Choose which deliveries it follows and where on that PC each one lives, and from then on both sides stay the same. Save a file in the folder and it goes up. Drop a file in on the server and it comes down. Work in that folder like any other, from any application that saves a file.
Every PC that has signed in appears under Devices in the dashboard, with when it was last seen and which folders it follows. Revoke a lost or sold laptop with one click and it signs out on its next check. Files deleted from a synced folder go to the server’s Trash, where they can be restored for 30 days.
Kommento: Built-In Video Review And Annotation
Kommento is the video review and annotation tool built into MTCloud. Turn it on for a folder and a delivery goes from “here are your files” to “here are your files, you can comment on them”. Clients watch in the portal, leave notes pinned to the exact second, draw directly on the frame to circle what they mean, and sign a cut off when they are happy. Every note is kept, so version two of a video starts with a clean slate and the history of version one is still there.
Include your client email address to be whitelisted so they can comment, and you get a notification from your own mail server when a note lands.
Two-Factor Sign-In for Security
Admin sign-in uses two-factor authentication: the password, then a six-digit code from an authenticator app on your phone, with recovery codes for the day the phone is lost. Repeated wrong attempts trigger a lockout and an email alert that tells you the time, the address typed, and whether it came from the office or the internet.
The admin side only answers on the server itself, so it is never exposed to the network. Every path a request supplies is checked against the folder it belongs to, sessions are signed and bound to a single delivery, and a password change revokes every live session.
Keep Your Information Confidential
The reason most teams hesitate over a cloud drive is not the price. It is the thought of a client’s unreleased work, a signed contract or an internal document sitting on a server they do not control, under an account a former staff member may still remember.
